vendor contract:
teamwork makes the dream work
Client agrees to the following contract with Katie Slater Photography for a wedding photography session.
1. Scope of Media Use
The Owner grants the Vendor the non-exclusive right to use photographs provided by the Owner for social media and website use only with credit given to the Photographer. This includes posting on social media platforms for promotional or informational purposes.
2. Restrictions on Use
The Vendor may not use the photographs for any of the following purposes without obtaining prior written permission from the Photographer:
Digital platforms outside of social and web use.
Print materials, including but not limited to brochures, posters, magazines, and other advertising materials.
Digital or physical advertisements, including billboards, email campaigns, or paid promotions.
3. Request for Extended Rights
If the Vendor wishes to use the photographs for purposes beyond the above, they must contact the Photographer to discuss and obtain extended usage rights. Additional fees or terms may apply, as agreed upon in writing.
4. Ownership and Credit
The Photographer retains all copyright and ownership of the photographs. When posting photographs on social media, the Vendor agrees to provide proper credit to the photographer, as applicable.
5. Agreement Acceptance
By using the photographs in any capacity, the Vendor agrees to the terms outlined in this agreement.
